Registration Fees

Included in registration fees, each child will receive the following:

• 9 fun-filled weeks of swimming instruction and 6 consecutive, weekly TSA dual-team swim meets.
• Qualified Coaching Staff. Our coaches are Lifeguard and SafeSport-certified, with backgrounds as current or former TSA swimmers. They bring competitive experience from high school, college, and year-round swimming, along with hands-on coaching in local swim clinics. Our coaches have prior experience teaching swim lessons to young children through Bedford and other organizations.
• Bedford Sharks Swim Team T-shirt and Swim Cap
• Stroke Clinics and Wacky Wednesdays

• Access to SwimTopia to view all of your swimmer(s) times
• End of Season Swim Banquet and Recognition Award

Please provide payment by Check (dropped off to the Bedford Clubhouse) or PayPal (PayPayl charges the swim team a fee, please consider paying by check or add $5 to your PayPal registration).  More details provided on following screens.

Requirements

When you register your child(ren), you are agreeing to work a minimum of 3 swim meets. The Bedford Sharks will appreciate and welcome you to help above and beyond 3 meets, but 3 meets is the minimum requirement of each swim team family. If you are unable to fulfill this commitment, please respect this requirement and do not sign your child up for the team.

Swimmers must be at least 4-5 years of age and able to swim one length of the lap pool unassisted. The coaching staff will evaluate ALL swimmer(s) during the first week of practice and if they feel your child is not capable of swimming well enough to be safe during swim team practices, they will discuss it with you. 

Bedford Sharks is for Bedford Residents.

SwimTopia Account

The email address(es) provided at registration will create parent/guardian accounts on our team management system, SwimTopia.  Returning parents/guardians should log in with their existing SwimTopia account before registering this season (you will not need to create a new account).

We ask all parents/guardians to each provide a respective email address to receive team communications, volunteer for meet duties, and sign their swimmers up for meets. We also recommend downloading the SwimTopia App to your mobile device.
